Great trombone stand Oct 13, 2009
By J. Greig This stand sets up easily, and is very sturdy. I feel completely comfortable leaving my horn on this stand.

tenor t-bone stand May 20, 2009
By H. Putsche

This is a well made sturdy trombone stand. I also have a Hamilton for smaller trombones, but the K & M is strong enough that I feel safe placing a large bore tenor on it. (be careful of the adjustment screws, they can fall out)
Great Stand Feb 13, 2012
By Brian Ward I just recently got this stand as I was a little frustrated with the unsteadiness of my Hamilton stand, and that the Hamilton stand had to have the allen wrench to tighten one of the adjustments. This stand is much sturdier and also a lot easier to set up. It also supports my Bass Trombones very well. I know the description says tenor trombone but it supports both the basses I own(they have 9.5" bells) much better. This is the one that I will be using and taking with me from now on. It is a little bit too long to fit in a Protec bass mute bag with the bag full of mutes, but I just leave the tip sticking out and close the zipper right up to it. I would recommend this stand to anyone looking for a sturdy easy to set up stand.
Best trombone stand "hands down!" Jan 04, 2012
By Justin Mar The K&M stand is worth it's weight in gold! Yes, it's pricey; but worth it! Quality craftmanship that you would expect from a product made in Germany! When my Hamilton trombone stand broke after 20 years of use, I wanted to get something even better to accomodate the weight of a bass trombone. I've read from other reviewers that it's sturdy enough for a bass trombone. So here is my fact for the day, "If it's sturdy enough for a bass trombone; then it'll be more than sturdy for a tenor or even an alto trombone." Protect your investment! It's strong and compact enough to fit into my gig bag as well. No complaints.
Bass Trombone Capable Dec 18, 2011
By Brother Lewis This stand was recommended to me by Horn Guys in Placentia, CA when I bought my new Bass Trombone. They expressed that while a "tenor" trombone stand, it was plenty strong enough for a bass. I have found this to definately be the case. I don't know if K&M sells a "bass" trombone or not, but the tenor stand is more than stable enough for bass trombones! (It's definately the best stand I've ever purchased - great product!)
