Monster of a Deal Jan 07, 2008
By Samuel Chell I'm a keyboard player, and in the past I had been spending $40-$60 for Monster's "delegated" keyboard cables. But suddenly one shorted out on me after only several months use, causing me to question the "Monster mystique." I began to compare the Monster keyboard cables with cheap, "off-brand" guitar cables and couldn't hear any difference. No question it's a well-made, trustworthy (but not indestructible or infallible) cable, but I'm no longer committed to it at any price. However, at Amazon's current "value" price for this particular Monster cable, it's a no-brainer. Moreover, I no longer have hesitations about purchasing a cable that doesn't say "piano" or "keyboard" on it. (One of my Monster keyboard cables even came with one end designated for the amp and the other for the instrument--but it was hard to see which was which in a dimly lit club.)
As for length, 6 feet is ideal if you're playing through your own amp (my preference). If you're plugging into a board or P.A. system, you'll want anywhere from 12 feet to 25 feet.

Good quality cable Mar 24, 2009
By Ivan Chestaro This cable is of very good quality. You can feel it when you touch and use it, you know it will last long. If you want to practice in a little room or sitting by the amp, 6ft will do it. Otherwise you will need a longer cable because if you like to walk while playing, this cable will be very short for that. Great cable, will buy again a longer one for different use.

They're Monster Cables. Jan 30, 2009

OK, OK, I've heard it before: Monster cables are generally overpriced and they don't make your guitar or keyboards sound any better, but you have to admit they are durable and well-made.
For anyone that's endured a cheapo cable, it's clearly worth it to spend a few extra bucks and get one that's not going to give you headaches during a live performance or cause you to wake up in the middle of the afternoon screaming the next day.
A cable you're not afraid to step on (occasionally) or yank a little, these are Monsters' "standard" cables (not the most expensive ones) that sound as good and perform just as well as their pricier cables.
But hey, if you like to brag about your cables, go spend more money on them, but you really don't need to.

Pretty Good Cable Feb 21, 2010
By Adudeduh I Really like this cable. Though the six ft. version is relatively short, it does its job well. This cable is very quiet, and I consider it to be recording worthy
